The Vintage Village Fete in Edinburgh February 2012 with Edinburgh Students’ Charities Appeal.

This time last year saw Bristo Square (usually home to Underbelly) explode with vintage fun.

The Moustache Factory_ Productions combined forces with ESCA (Edinburgh Students’ Charities Appeal) and EUSA (Edinburgh University Students’ Association) to support some very worthy national charities;Cardboard Citizens, The Forest and Craigmillar Community Arts Centre.

The University of Edinburgh welcomed contributors from as far away as
Peterborough to host a very successful vintage market and deli cafe in the heart of the city’s student community. A blow out success saw 100s of visitors and shoppers, all willing to give in support our charities.

The day was topped off with a jiving live performance from Edinburgh’s very own swing success TJ Muller & the Dixie Six paired up with the University’s Swing Society!

“Edinburgh’s Bristo Square came to life for the rather wonderful-sounding Vintage Village Fete, where housed within vintage marquees was a selection of stalls selling vintage and second-hand goodies, plus artisan food sellers, a vintage barber, and, erm, 3D jelly sculptures.”
